Family members and friends play an important role
in helping residents attain independence. Families
are encouraged to participate in our community though
family councils, recreational activities, day trips
and volunteer opportunities. When a resident is
ready to leave our facility, we help plan a smooth,
safe transition and identify community and home
resources to make the homecoming easier.
Residents are given the opportunity
to participate in a full calendar of recreational
and social events such as crafts, games, music
and religious programs. Activities promote a resident's
self-esteem and stimulates interpersonal relationships.
